Ilallah, who assumed office on June 15, 2026, has hosted senior officials of United Bank for Africa (UBA), Zenith Bank, Keystone Bank, the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), Credit Direct, Loan Book, Kaduna Investment and Finance Company, KIFC, Kaduna State Media Corporation, KSMC, the Civil Service Commission, CSC, Kaduna Geographic Information Service, KADGIS, as well as civil society groups, development partners, and community leaders.

The delegations described Ilallah’s appointment as “timely and well deserved,” saying it reflects Governor Uba Sani’s commitment to strengthening public financial management and institutional excellence.

They expressed confidence in the new AG’s experience and leadership, noting that his stewardship would further promote accountability, transparency, and efficiency in managing the state’s finances.

The visitors pledged to strengthen collaboration with the Office of the Accountant General to boost Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), enhance financial accountability, and support ongoing public financial management reforms.

In his remarks, the new Accountant General thanked Governor Sani for the confidence reposed in him and expressed gratitude to the Commissioner of Finance, Alhaji Ibrahim Tanko Mohammed, for his guidance and support.

He reaffirmed his commitment to “the highest standards of integrity, accountability, professionalism, and transparency,” adding that his administration will prioritize strengthening treasury operations, blocking financial leakages, deepening fiscal discipline, and building partnerships to ensure efficient management of public resources.

“My office remains open to constructive ideas, strategic partnerships, and meaningful collaboration that will enhance treasury management and deliver greater value to the people of Kaduna State,” Ilallah said.

He appealed for prayers, cooperation, and support from stakeholders and residents, and urged citizens to continue backing the Sani administration to sustain its developmental programmes across the state.
