The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Isoko North Constituency I in the Delta State House of Assembly, Engr. Orobosa Ashakah, has congratulated the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services, High Chief Kestin Pondi, FNSE, and Delta State Commissioner for Power and Energy, Engr. Michael Anoka, FNSE, on the successful completion of their Ph.D. programmes at the University of Benin (UNIBEN).
Ashakah, in a congratulatory message, described the academic feat by the two prominent Deltans as a demonstration of discipline, intellectual commitment and the pursuit of excellence.
Pondi and Anoka recently completed their final thesis defence in Public Administration at UNIBEN after undergoing rigorous departmental and faculty-level examinations.
The internal and external examiners certified that both scholars had satisfied the academic requirements for the award of the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees.
Ashakah said the achievement was particularly commendable given the demanding responsibilities of Pondi as head of Tantita Security Services and Anoka as a member of the Delta State Executive Council.
He noted that their ability to combine demanding professional engagements with advanced academic pursuits offered an inspiring example to younger professionals and demonstrated that continuous learning remained possible regardless of age, position or career responsibilities.
The APC candidate said the accomplishment by Pondi and Anoka underscored the importance of lifelong learning and intellectual development in building a more knowledgeable and capable society.
He congratulated both men on the successful defence of their theses and wished them greater accomplishments in their professional, academic and public service careers.
