Entertainer and politician Banky W has shed light on his absence from the recently concluded Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) 2023.
Despite the glamorous presence of numerous celebrities at the event, the beloved couple Adesua Etomi and Banky W surprised fans by not attending.
Many had eagerly anticipated seeing them grace the red carpet in their usual grand style.
Taking to social media, Banky W shared photos of himself and his wife, Adesua Etomi, dressed in matching khaki outfits.
Alongside the pictures, he wrote;
“Didn’t get to attend the #AMVCA’s, but I already got my award #AndTheWinnerIs #LifetimeAchievementAward #CongratsToTheWinners #AMVCA2023 #AndTheWinnerIsLove.”
Banky W’s statement suggests that despite not physically attending the AMVCA, he considers himself a winner with a lifetime achievement award in the category of love.
