Sweden: A fifth of the population wants the right to bear arms amid ongoing Muslim violence

Once-peaceful Sweden has become one of the most dangerous places in Europe. That’s because it was the most welcoming country, and the leading experimental laboratory for open-door immigration policies. The experiment failed.

Logic should dictate that if any peaceful country flings open its doors to unvetted, open-door immigration, that country would come increasingly to resemble the countries from which so many of the migrants fled. It didn’t take long for Sweden to be thus transformed:

Sweden is the only European country where fatal shootings have risen significantly since 2000, leaping from one of the lowest rates of gun violence on the continent to one of the highest in less than a decade,

Muslim migrant gangs continue to terrorize Sweden’s streets with bombings and murders, while the spotlight is on Sweden over an “Islamophobic” Qur’an burning incident. In 2016, police in Sweden admitted losing control of 55 no-go zones. By 2017, Swedish politicians were calling for the army to be deployed to these areas.

Last April, Sweden’s then-Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson stated:

Sweden has failed to integrate the vast numbers of immigrants it has taken in over the past two decades, leading to parallel societies and gang violence….. she launched a series of initiatives to combat organised crime.

Now, the people of Sweden want the right to bear arms so as to be able to defend themselves and their families.

The West continues to lose its freedom. This will continue until the masses wake up and recognize the extent to which globalist leaders have betrayed them.

“Novus: One in five Swedes would be safer if they could shoot,” translated from “Novus: En av fem svenskar skulle vara tryggare om de kunde skjuta,” by Alicia Heimersson, Expressen, January 30, 2022:

A fifth of Swedes would have felt safer if they could shoot.

This is according to a new survey conducted by Novus.

“This has not happened in a vacuum, but is a reaction to what is happening in Sweden and the world,” says Torbjörn Sjöström, CEO of Novus.

A large percentage of Swedes would have felt safer if they had been able to shoot and want to see increased opportunities to practice shooting skills. This is shown by Novus’ survey, for which 1,043 people between 18-84 have been interviewed.

“With daily reports on shootings, we wanted to investigate the citizen’s role in the connection between weapons, marksmanship and serious violent crimes,” says Torbjörn Sjöström.

That almost 20 percent of Swedes would feel safer if they could shoot themselves is extremely high in Sweden, says Sjöström.

“”This is not the United States, since over a million Swedes would feel safer if they could shoot themselves is a huge change compared to what we are used to seeing in Sweden.”

According to Sjöström, the result shows that the Swedes do not trust that society will stand up when it really matters.

“Including the police’s ability to protect the individual when it is truly urgent,” says Torbjörn Sjöström.
