Islamic Terrorists Previously Discussed Trading Jewish Hostages for ‘Lady Al Qaeda’

Published

Where might Malik Faisal Akram, the Muslim terrorist who decided to take members of a Reform Temple hostage in order to demand the release of ‘Lady Al Qaeda’ aka Aafia Siddiqui, have gotten the idea?

The FBI’s Special Agent in Charge insisted that the whole thing had nothing to do with the Jewish community. The AP and the rest of the media quickly picked up that meme with misinformation headlines like, “FBI: Hostage taker was not focused on Jewish community.”

Someone on CNN insisted that the synagogue had been targeted because it was close to the airport.

But taking Jewish hostages to trade for Aafia Siddiqui was not a new idea. (Hat tip: Elder of Ziyon.)

Karachi-born Siddiqui is a cause celebre of the terrorist world with pan-Islamic groups like Al Qaeda and Islamic State have sought her release and US journalists James Foley and Steven Sotloff were beheaded by Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi’s fanatics in revenge.

Known as Lady Al Qaeda, Siddiqui was married to the nephew of the 9/11 prime accused and Pakistan national Khalid Sheikh Mohammed. For the past 15 years, pan-Islamic jihadist groups have made attempts to secure the release of Siddiqui, who attended MIT and earned a doctorate from Brandies University.

The Texas hostage situation clearly shows that Al Qaeda is alive and kicking despite all the statements to the contrary by the Biden administration and the US intelligence. The fact is that Indian Mujahideen co-founder and Pakistan based Riyaz Bhatkal, as per NIA chargesheet on Yasin Bhatkal, had met Al Qaeda operatives in 2013. Yasin Bhatkal, who was picked up by Intelligence Bureau from Nepal in August 2013, told his interrogators that Riyaz had told him to kidnap Jews from Pushkar mela in Rajasthan and demand the release of Aafia Siddiqui.

This was a popular plan.

Siddi Bapa also allegedly told NIA interrogators that he and some of his men were working on a plot to take  “foreign Jews” hostage at the time of his arrest. He claims to have received orders to take Jewish hostages sometime after executing the 2013 Hyderabad bombings.

Could there be an Indian Mujahadeen connection here? One thing is for certain, the Biden administration won’t tell us.
