Nollywood has been plunged into sadness following rumours of the death of actor Alexx Ekubo, with colleagues and fans shocked by the news.
Sam Olatunji, of talent management, verified his demise. Fellow actor Godwin Nnadiekwe also posted a sad statement on Instagram, implying the 40-year-old had died.
In the message, Nnadiekwe expressed disbelief at the purported development, saying, “I’m struggling to find the words.” This news has truly devastated me. Nollywood has lost a precious person, and I am at a loss for words because this was not the plan, Alex Ekubo.”
He went on to say, “To think you have already made your will—it’s a sadness I can’t completely articulate. Rest well, my friend.
