A Nigerian man identified as @mayorde4yo on X (formerly Twitter) has recounted an encounter with his cousin who travelled to Germany in 2017.
In a viral post, the X user revealed that his cousin ghosted his family after arriving Germany.

However, his cousin arrived Nigeria last year after completing his bungalow.
Meanwhile, he barely recognized his immediate cousin and struggled to remember their names.
According to the X user, he linked up with his cousin and took him around the village. While touring the village, his cousin took photos with an iPhone XR.
Ahead of his trip to Lagos, he slipped £10 into his hand as a gesture of gratitude.
”He folded €10 into my hands and said thank you.Is it that people abroad don’t have money, or they are just naturally stingy?”, He inquired.
