President Tinubu on Thursday, April 2, paid a condolence visit to the government and people of Plateau state over last Sunday’s deadly attack.
Some assailants attacked the Angwan Rukuba community in Jos on Palm Sunday, March 29, leaving over 40 persons de@D.
During the condolence visit, President Tinubu condemned the att@ck. He specifically commiserated with Ms. Rhoda, the mother who was captured in a viral video holding onto her de@D son, AYuba, who was maimed by the assailants during the attack.
The President while offering words of sympathy said he knows the pain she is experiencing and prays for God to comfort her,
‘’I pray that this experience will not repeat itself again. Favour Rhoda, I know the pain. I saw how on the video you held on to Ayuba and the pain and agony in your heart. It is only God, only God who can give you joy and comfort. No amount of money can pay all of you back. Yes, as God we will try our best to comfort and work with you’ he said
