Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has called on President Bola Tinubu and his son, Seyi Tinubu, to pay him additional money following his participation in an All Progressives Congress (APC) rally held on Tuesday.
The singer made the demand in a viral video recorded after the political gathering, where he complained about the physical stress he experienced while campaigning and entertaining supporters at the venue.
Although Portable admitted that he had received payment for the event, he insisted that the amount was not enough to compensate for the pressure he went through.
The rally, held at Onikan Stadium in Lagos, attracted politicians, entertainers and other supporters of the ruling party.
Portable was among the personalities present at the event, where he was seen moving around the venue and engaging with the crowd.
Videos circulating on social media showed the singer appearing exhausted as the rally progressed.
In one of the clips, he was seen lying on the floor and demanding to see Tinubu and Seyi Tinubu.

His manager, Babylov, was also seen attempting to get him back on his feet as they prepared to leave the venue.
“I want to see Tinubu and Seyi Tinubu; they have almost squeezed me to death. I have fainted; it is Tinubu that is winning. Did we not collect money? Tinubu, pay me more money; I am feeling so much heat.”
Portable’s comment have drawn attention to his experience at the rally, particularly his demand for additional compensation despite acknowledging that he had already been paid for his appearance.
Reports following the event also suggested that the singer fainted amid overcrowding at the venue.
However, the circumstances surrounding the reported incident have not been independently established.
The video has generated reactions online, with attention focused on the singer’s condition, his involvement in the APC campaign and his request for more money from the president and his son.
Portable is known for his outspoken personality and frequent public controversies.
The singer has also made headlines for his involvement in political discussions, particularly his willingness to support politicians in exchange for fiinancial benefits.
The latest incident comes after Portable publicly spoke about his involvement in political campaign supporting Tinubu.
In a video that circulated on social media earlier in October, the singer said he had been struggling financially before receiving payment for the campaign-related engagement.
“I was broke before, that’s why I haven’t been spraying money for the street, but now, I want to do rally for Tinubu, they’ve paid me, I’ve collected money and now I’ll show love to the street,” he said.
Portable also declared his commitment to supporting the president, linking the payment he said he received to his renewed ability to give money to people around him.
The political comments by the singer are not entirely new.
In September 2025, he reportedly said he would endorse the first politician who paid him to support their presidential ambition ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The statement caused people to react because it suggested that financial considerations could influence his choice of candidate.
However, it remains unclear how much the singer received for the Tuesday event or whether Tinubu or Seyi Tinubu will respond to his latest demand.
Neither the president nor his son was reported to have publicly addressed the video at the time of filing this report.
