UBA Declares ₦0.25 Interim Dividend for H1 2025

United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA) has announced the payment of an interim dividend of ₦0.25 per 50 kobo share for the period ended June 30, 2025.

The dividend is subject to applicable withholding tax and will be paid to shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members as at the close of business on Friday, October 3, 2025.

Dividend Payment and Register Closure

  • Qualification Date: Friday, October 3, 2025

  • Closure of Register: Monday, October 6, 2025

  • Payment Date: Friday, October 10, 2025

  • Registrar: Africa Prudential Plc

Dividend payments will be made electronically to shareholders who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar, Africa Prudential Plc, to credit their bank accounts directly. Holders of Global Depository Receipts (GDRs) will be paid after the stated date.

E-Dividend Registration

UBA urged shareholders yet to complete the e-dividend registration to download the E-Dividend Mandate Form from www.africaprudential.com, complete it, and submit to the Registrar, any UBA branch, or their respective banks. Completed forms can also be sent via email to cxc@africaprudential.com or investorrelations@ubagroup.com.

Unclaimed Dividends

The bank advised shareholders with unclaimed dividend warrants or share certificates to regularise their records with Africa Prudential Plc to ensure prompt payment.

Financial Performance

UBA reported a profit after tax of ₦335.53 billion for H1 2025, compared to ₦316.36 billion in the same period of 2024. The Group also recorded total assets of ₦33.27 trillion, up from ₦30.32 trillion at year-end 2024.
