Twenties Tribe unveils new plans to boost youth empowerment across Africa

Twenties Tribe, Africa’s fast-growing youth community, has launched Twenties Tribe Coupons, a new product aimed at empowering young people with access to affordable deals and opportunities.

The platform offers discounted services and products from leading brands including Roving Heights, Uncover Beauty, iFitness, OneHealth, Movie in the Park Experience, and Chowdeck, one of Nigeria’s leading food and grocery delivery services.

For years, Twenties Tribe has positioned itself as more than a community. It has organised summits and classes, connected thousands of young Africans to jobs, and inspired millions across the continent to dream bigger. The launch of Coupons marks a new phase in its mission to create a social edtech hub that integrates jobs, events, experts, and savings.

“Our goal is to become Africa’s largest social edtech platform by 2030,” said David Olasunmonu, CEO of Twenties Tribe. “Coupons is our first product, but it’s also a symbol of our commitment to expansion and to building tools that make this defining decade count.”

The launch event featured a fireside chat themed Our Defining Decade, where guest speakers offered advice on navigating early adulthood. “It’s a win-win,” said Usman Sanusi, COO of Twenties Tribe. “Young people save big while brands reach an engaged audience that truly values them. We’re creating a one-stop shop that powers both financial empowerment and business growth.”

Led by CEO and co-founder David Olasunmonu, COO and co-founder Usman Sanusi, and CTO and co-founder Hezekiah Omotsuebe, Twenties Tribe is seeking to build a future where young Africans not only survive their twenties but thrive.

With Africa’s youth population growing rapidly, the organisation’s leaders say the Coupons platform is just the beginning of a broader push to redefine youth empowerment across the continent.
