The trial of Lindsay Clancy centers on the deaths of her three young children: 5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old Dawson, and 8-month-old Callan in 2023.
Clancy’s defense attorneys argue that she was experiencing a severe, acute mental health crisis caused by postpartum psychosis, bipolar disorder, and severe depression, while prosecutors have argued that Clancy acted with premeditation and sent her husband out of the house to order takeout and visit a pharmacy in order to carry out the murders.
Prosecutors argue that her Google search history revealed her intent to kill her children, while the judge was forced to step in during a tense exchange with an expert witness. Her final words to her children were also revealed during the trial.
