Super Eagles goalkeeper, Ojo Olorunleke, has officially withdrawn the divorce petition he filed against his wife, Tosin Olorunleke.
The football star had initially approached the court seeking dissolution of their marriage after his wife publicly accused him of infidelity — an allegation he later admitted to in his petition.
However, during the scheduled hearing on Tuesday, October 21, the case was struck out following a motion filed by Ojo to discontinue the proceedings. In the motion, he informed the court that both parties had agreed to settle their differences amicably out of court.
Tosin, who was the respondent in the case, had earlier pleaded with the court not to dissolve their marriage, expressing concern for their two children and stating her desire to keep the family together.
In his motion, Ojo urged the court to treat the petition as though it had never been filed, signalling his intention to reconcile and rebuild his marriage in peace.
The couple, who share two children, are reportedly working on restoring harmony in their home.
