Stanbic IBTC Declares ₦39.75bn Interim Dividend for H1 2025

Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc has announced an interim dividend of ₦2.50 per ordinary share of 50 kobo each, amounting to a total payout of ₦39.75 billion for the half year ended June 30, 2025.

The dividend, which is subject to withholding tax and regulatory approval, will be paid to shareholders whose names appear in the company’s Register of Members as at the close of business on Monday, October 6, 2025.

According to the announcement signed by Company Secretary, Chidi Okezie, the Register of Shareholders will be closed from Tuesday, October 7 to Tuesday, October 14, 2025.

The payment date has been fixed for Tuesday, October 21, 2025, when shareholders who have duly completed the e-dividend registration will receive payment directly into their bank accounts.

The bank confirmed that no bonus shares were proposed.

Stanbic IBTC encouraged shareholders who are yet to complete their e-dividend registration to download and submit the E-Dividend Mandate Activation Form available on the Registrar’s website, First Registrars & Investor Services Limited.

The financial institution also advised shareholders with outstanding or unclaimed dividend warrants and share certificates to contact the Registrar for resolution.

This interim dividend reflects the Group’s strong financial performance for the first half of 2025, during which it posted a profit after tax of ₦173.43 billion and grew its total assets to ₦8.12 trillion.
