Stakeholders in West Africa’s construction and infrastructure sector will converge in Lagos to address key themes around innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation at the upcoming BUILDMACEX 2026 Construction Exhibition, organised by Atlantic Exhibition Nigeria Limited.
The event, scheduled to be held on April 22 to 24, 2026, at the Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, is expected to attract industry leaders, professionals, innovators, policymakers, and investors from across the globe to explore how modern technology is revolutionising structural design and infrastructure development.
Now in its 10th edition, BUILDMACEX has become a major platform for advancing West Africa’s construction sector, showcasing technologies and solutions that drive efficiency, sustainability, and resilience. The 2026 edition will spotlight building innovations, smart construction materials, renewable energy integration, and eco-friendly design practices shaping the region’s built environment.
Beyond exhibitions, the three-day event will feature industry-led conferences, panel sessions, and technical workshops focused on the future of construction, sustainable infrastructure, and digital adoption. It will also provide B2B networking opportunities, connecting contractors, architects, and developers with suppliers, technology providers, and policymakers.

Speaking on the upcoming event, Vivian Sesi Godonuve, event manager at Atlantic Exhibition, said the 2026 edition will emphasise the transformative impact of technology on construction.
“BUILDMACEX has always been at the forefront of shaping conversations around construction and infrastructure in West Africa,” Godonuve said. “The 2026 edition is designed to emphasise how technology and innovation are transforming structural design and redefining the built environment. We are creating a platform where ideas meet action, where stakeholders can forge partnerships that will strengthen our region’s construction industry for decades to come.”
Organisers say BUILDMACEX 2026 will serve not only as an exhibition ground but also as a marketplace for innovation and collaboration, offering professionals insights into emerging policy trends, sustainability practices, and urban development strategies influencing Africa’s infrastructure landscape.
