South African police hunt Nigerian man wanted over drug trafficking

The Senekal Police in South Africa have asked the public for assistance in locating a 41-year-old Nigerian national, Stanley Ozioma Abachi, who is wanted in connection with a drugs and drug trafficking case.

According to police, the case was registered in April 2022. A warrant of arrest has since been issued for Abachi, the police added.

Authorities say Abachi was last seen in Welkom.

“The Senekal Detective Commander, Captain Calvert, is leading efforts to trace the suspect.

“Police are urging anyone with information that could assist in locating Stanley Ozioma Abachi to contact Captain Calvert directly on 082 466 7635.

“Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stop on 08600 10111, or via the MySAPSApp,” the police said.

The police however urged members of the public not to approach the suspect when they find him, but report any information to the nearest police station.
