Rumer Willis‘ custody battle has already taken another unexpected turn, with her ex pushing back hard.
The actress recently found herself facing fresh claims from Derek Richard Thomas, who accused her of interfering with his court-ordered parenting time with their 3-year-old daughter, Louetta.

In new court documents, Thomas reportedly described Willis’ allegations concerning his alleged drug use, concerns for Louetta’s safety, and his willingness to cooperate as “materially false and misleading.”
Thomas also claims that Willis has repeatedly frustrated his scheduled parenting time and failed to follow the custody arrangement already established by the court. Rather than seeking an entirely new arrangement, he wants the existing custody plan to remain in place.

4According to TMZ, Thomas is asking the judge to leave the June orders intact, including his scheduled overnight visits with Louetta. He is also seeking restrictions that would prevent Willis from taking their daughter out of California or enrolling her in school without his consent.
Thomas also claims Willis used the supervised visitation as a negotiating chip, describing some of the times she says she was willing to ease up on the monitoring if he would agree to some other changes to their visitation agreement.
The dispute apparently escalated during a July visit when Thomas claims Willis arrived with LAPD officers. According to his account, the officers determined the disagreement was a civil matter.
In contrast, one officer allegedly noted that the custody order did not specify that just any nanny could pick Louetta up from him. Thomas maintains that he never outright refused supervision and is asking the court to reject Willis’ emergency attempt to alter the current arrangement.
