Peller completes traditional marriage rite, pays Jarvis ‘bride price’

Habeeb Hamzat, popular Nigerian TikTok personality widely known as Peller, has formally completed traditional marriage rites with Elizabeth Aminata, popularly called Jarvis in a family ceremony that drew wide attention on social media.

The ceremony, described by the influencer as the payment of bride price, was shared online through a video posted on his Instagram page, showing both families participating in a colourful introduction event marked by cultural attire and celebratory mood.

Peller appeared in a traditional outfit featuring a white shirt, George wrapper and coral beads, while Jarvis wore a red wrapper complemented with coral accessories and a beaded crown, reflecting a coordinated traditional theme that quickly sparked engagement across social platforms.

In a message accompanying the post, Peller described the development as a defining moment in their relationship, expressing gratitude to both families for their acceptance.

He wrote that the union marked the beginning of a new phase, adding that the couple were ready to build a future together after what he called a long journey of love and reconciliation.

The pair, whose relationship has played out publicly across multiple platforms, have built a massive following through joint content creation, livestreams and digital entertainment that helped elevate them into some of Nigeria’s most recognisable young online personalities.

Their latest ceremony follows a string of public romantic milestones, including a proposal staged earlier in Ghana, which also gained viral attention and reignited discussions among fans about the stability of their relationship.

The couple’s romance has previously experienced public turbulence, including reported breakups and reconciliations that often unfolded in the full glare of social media audiences.
