PalmPay celebrates six years of financial inclusion drive

PalmPay, Africa’s leading neobank and foremost fintech platform, is marking six years of transforming everyday banking for millions of Nigerians with a celebration that puts its users at the centre.

Since its 2019 launch, PalmPay has grown into a trusted platform with over 35 million users, processing millions of transactions daily and enabling small and medium businesses, families, and individuals to manage their finances better.

“PalmPay was built on the belief that banking should be accessible to everyone, safe, easy, and rewarding,” said Chika Nwosu, Managing Director at PalmPay. “Over the last six years, we’ve earned the trust of our users, and their impact stories remind us that our solutions are not just about technology but about enabling smarter banking habits tailored to individual needs.”

To mark the milestone, PalmPay has launched its Lucky Wish Campaign, running from September 12–29, 2025. The campaign will spotlight inspiring user stories and reward loyal customers with gadgets, including Apple AirPods, iPhone 17 Pro, and Samsung A16 devices.

PalmPay is also leveraging its ongoing Hustle Grant Campaign to support Nigerian entrepreneurs, with nine final winners set to be announced in phases before the grand reveal on September 26. Each winner will receive N500,000 in funding to support the growth of their businesses.

The company’s user-centric strategy has been key to its rapid adoption and market leadership. By combining rewards, financial education, and affordable digital services, it positioned itself as a driver of financial inclusion and digital literacy.

As PalmPay looks ahead, its focus remains on delivering smarter, safer, and more inclusive banking services. “This anniversary is a celebration of impact not just ours, but of every user who has trusted us to power their financial journey,” Nwosu added.
