Anita Joseph, Nollywood actress, has announced end of her marriage to Fisayo ‘MC Fish’ Michael.
Joseph made the announcement in an Instagram post on Monday night, explaining that the decision came after a period of personal reflection.
The couple tied the knot in 2020.
However, the actress did not provide details on the specific reasons behind the separation.
“Life has a way of testing our strength in ways we never expect, especially in marriage. Lately, I’ve been walking through a season of deep reflection, pain and healing,” she wrote.
“I may not have all the answers, but I’m choosing grace, growth, and faith— one step at a time. Calling a spade a spade, my marriage is over. Ogbugianyi! Omere ka Anyi Mara ihe! Shalom!!”
Speculation surrounding the union intensified in recent months, with reports alleging infidelity, domestic abuse, and substance-related issues involving MC Fish.
There were also reports that Joseph experienced two pregnancy losses, including a miscarriage and a stillbirth, during the marriage.
Despite circulating rumours, the actress had previously reassured fans that she was “doing fine” without disclosing details about her marital situation.
