A video showing an alleged representative of Bola Oyebamiji, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Osun State, distributing N1,000 to voters has surfaced on social media, just hours before today governorship election.
TheNewsGuru reports that Osun State governorship election is scheduled for Saturday, August 15, 2026, with major contenders including Oyebamiji of the APC and Najeem Salam of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), who is seeking to unseat the incumbent governor, Ademola Adeleke.
In the footage, which has gained widespread attention online, some party agents wearing polo shirts bearing the inscription “AMBO” are seen distributing N1,000 to voters who were seated at the scene.
The video has since sparked reactions across social media, with concerned citizens condemning the alleged distribution of money to voters ahead of the election.
