OPay has announced that selected beneficiaries can access the Federal Government’s ₦50,000 National Emergency Relief and Stabilisation Intervention (NERSI) support through its app.
The company said it is an approved payment partner. Beneficiaries should log in and look for the NERSI banner on the app’s homepage. Tapping it displays instructions to check eligibility and accept the support.
Nigerians without an OPay account can download the app, but opening an account does not guarantee selection or payment. Only beneficiaries chosen under the government programme qualify.
OPay says eligible beneficiaries pay no fees to receive support.
How to accept
Open the OPay app and check for the NERSI banner. Tap it and follow the instructions to accept. For enquiries, call 0700-022-2222. Do not pay anyone to release the relief or share your PIN or one-time password (OTP).
