Selected Nigerians who previously accepted the Federal Government’s ₦50,000 National Emergency Relief and Stabilisation Intervention (NERSI) payment offer through OPay have begun receiving credit alerts.
The development means beneficiaries who completed the acceptance process can now access the relief funds in their OPay accounts.
The payment is part of the Federal Government’s support for eligible Nigerians to help ease living costs. OPay is among the six approved payment providers facilitating the disbursement.
Beneficiaries should check their OPay transaction history for the ₦50,000 credit. However, receiving an acceptance notification does not necessarily mean the money has already been credited.
How to withdraw
Beneficiaries whose accounts have been credited can open their OPay apps and check their available balances. They can transfer the money to their bank accounts or withdraw through available OPay channels. Those yet to receive payment should monitor their accounts for further updates. No payment is required to access the relief.
