NPFL: Kwara United hail Lagos fans for support during temporary stay in Onikan

Kwara United have expressed gratitude to football fans in Lagos for their support during the club’s temporary relocation to the city.

The chairman of the club, Kumbi Titiloye, described the support from Lagos State football stakeholders as massive and unprecedented.

Titiloye insisted that the stakeholders contributed immensely to the club’s recent impressive run of form in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

DAILY POST reports that Kwara United recorded four wins and a draw at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan.

“We thank Lagos for their support,” Titiloye told the club’s media.

“Their unwavering commitment played a pivotal role in securing positive results while temporarily playing at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.”

Kwara United have now moved to 11th position on the NPFL table with one game left to play against relegated Bayelsa United in Yenagoa on May 24.
