NJFP Fellows Get New Opportunity — 50,000 to Access Free Cisco Training

The Federal Government, through the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP), has partnered with Cisco Networking Academy to provide free digital skills training for up to 50,000 fellows and alumni.

The partnership, formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aims to strengthen participants’ digital capabilities, improve employability and prepare young Nigerians for emerging career opportunities.

Under the arrangement, eligible NJFP fellows and alumni will gain access to Cisco Networking Academy courses on a rolling basis. The training is expected to equip participants with practical, future-ready digital skills that can support career development and improve their prospects in the labour market.

The NJFP is a flagship Federal Government initiative funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

The partnership also reflects efforts to expand opportunities for young Nigerians through collaboration with technology organisations and other stakeholders.

The Office of the Vice President was acknowledged for its leadership and continued support for initiatives aimed at improving youth employability.

The programme’s announcement did not specify a separate public application portal or confirm that the opportunity is open to Nigerians who are not NJFP fellows or alumni.
