Nigeria will overcome all insecurity threats – Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerians that the country will ultimately overcome all forms of insecurity.

He praised the courage and sacrifices of the nation’s armed forces.

Speaking on Friday during an interfaith breaking of fast with members of the Nigerian Armed Forces at the presidential villa in Abuja, Tinubu commended officers and soldiers for their professionalism and commitment to defending Nigeria’s sovereignty.

“My duty is to thank all of you on behalf of a grateful nation, knowing fully well that many times you are without your families and that you stay away from them. Some of you are facing attacks by bandits and terrorists,” he said in a statement signed by Bayo Onanuga, his special adviser on information and strategy.

The president added that the efforts of security forces have weakened terrorist groups and bandits across the country. He assured continued investment in modern equipment, intelligence, and logistics to strengthen operational effectiveness.

Tinubu also thanked Nigerians for their patience amid economic reforms, emphasizing that the sacrifices of security personnel and citizens alike are not in vain.
