NGX Group Declares N1.30 Interim Dividend for Shareholders

Nigerian Exchange Group Plc (NGX Group) has declared an interim dividend of N1.30 per ordinary share of 50 kobo each following a strong financial performance in the first half of 2026.

During the period, the Group reported a profit after tax of N10.36 billion, up from N4.22 billion recorded in the corresponding period of 2025.

The dividend, which is subject to applicable withholding tax, was announced by the company’s Board of Directors alongside its unaudited financial statements for the six months ended June 30, 2026.

Shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members at the close of business on July 29, 2026, will qualify for the interim dividend.

The Register of Members will be closed on July 30, 2026, while payment is scheduled for August 5, 2026.

The Group’s unaudited financial statements showed that revenue more than doubled to N17.60 billion in the first half of 2026 from N8.08 billion in the corresponding period of 2025, helping drive profit after tax to N10.36 billion.

NGX Group advised shareholders who are yet to complete their e-dividend registration to download the Registrar’s E-Dividend Mandate Activation Form from DataMax Registrars Limited and submit the completed form to the Registrar or their respective banks to facilitate seamless payment.

The company also urged shareholders with unclaimed dividend warrants or share certificates that are yet to be presented for payment or validation to complete their e-dividend registration or contact the Registrar for assistance.

The corporate action was dated July 27, 2026, and signed by Izuchukwu Akpa, Group Company Secretary.
