The management of Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu has taken to social media to share an update on her health, revealing that she is still recovering from surgery after experiencing unexpected complications.
The team made this known after sharing a video of the actress on a hospital bed, explaining that she underwent surgery about three months ago and has since been on a challenging recovery journey.
The team further thanked everyone who supported her through prayers, donations, and encouraging messages, and appealed for continued support as she works toward full recovery.
“Over three months ago, so many of you showed up with love, prayers, and support when she needed it most. We are still incredibly grateful to everyone who gave, shared her story, sent a message, or kept her in your prayers.
“Since then, she has undergone one surgery, but her recovery journey has come with some unexpected complications.
“While she is still healing and not quite back to herself yet, she felt it was important to come before you personally, say thank you, and let you know how things have been,” the statement read.
The team added that the actress is taking things one day at a time while trusting God for complete healing and strength.
They also urged the public to keep her in their thoughts and prayers, noting that any further assistance would be appreciated.
It would be recalled that Nwosu had previously appealed for financial assistance after revealing that she was battling an undisclosed illness that required three surgeries estimated to cost ₦30 million.
The actress described the decision to speak publicly about her condition as difficult but said she needed urgent, life-saving treatment.
Her management later announced that she was doing well and preparing for her first surgery, expected the following week, while appealing for more financial support.
The Abia State Government also donated ₦25 million towards her medical treatment.
