The Nigeria Police Force, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command, has presented Group Life Assurance, Group Personal Accident, and Family Welfare Support cheques to families of 79 fallen police officers.
The presentation was carried out on April 2, 2026, by the Commissioner of Police, FCT Command, Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi, at the Command Headquarters in Garki II, Abuja, as part of activities marking the 2026 National Police Day.
The initiative underscores the commitment of the Force, under the leadership of Olatunji Rilwan Disu, to the welfare of personnel and the families of officers who died in the line of duty.
Addressing the beneficiaries, the CP conveyed heartfelt condolences and reassured them of the Force’s continued support.
“The sacrifices of our fallen heroes will never be forgotten,” he stated.
The Command reaffirmed its dedication to protecting lives and property across the FCT and urged residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities through its emergency lines.
