The Nigerian Air Force has reaffirmed its commitment to protecting civilians following reports of casualties from air operations in Kurigi Village, Niger State.
The Director of Public Relations and Information, Headquarters Nigerian Air Force, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, disclosed this in a statement issued on Wednesday.

Ejodame added that training, operational procedures and safeguards have been strengthened to minimise harm.
He disclosed that a Civilian Harm Accident and Investigation team had been activated to probe the incident.
“The investigation will be comprehensive, transparent and guided by accountability,” he said.
He assured Nigerians that the Air Force would take responsibility where necessary.
