Meet Anderline Ndidi Dukor, set to lead N224.8bn MeCure Industries

Anderline Ndidi Dukor will assume leadership of MeCure Industries Plc from August 1, becoming the sole chief executive officer of the pharmaceutical manufacturer following a board-approved overhaul of its executive leadership structure aimed at accelerating growth and strengthening corporate governance.

The appointment comes as the board transitions the Lagos-listed healthcare company from a co-chief executive officer model to a traditional single-CEO structure, a move it said followed a comprehensive review of the company’s strategic priorities, operational requirements and governance framework.

The board believes a unified leadership structure will improve strategic execution, speed up decision-making and strengthen accountability as MeCure enters its next phase of expansion.

Dukor will take responsibility for the company’s overall strategic direction, operational performance and executive management. She is expected to lead the execution of MeCure’s long-term growth strategy, deepen operational excellence, strengthen engagement with stakeholders and drive sustainable value creation for shareholders.

The leadership change places Dukor at the helm of MeCure Industries, a pharmaceutical company valued at about N224.8 billion on the Nigerian Exchange, where investors have increasingly rewarded healthcare companies expanding local manufacturing capacity.

Alongside Dukor’s appointment, the board named Arjun Udani as Executive Director, Operations & Finance. In his new role, Udani will oversee the company’s manufacturing operations, finance, supply chain and other core operational functions while working closely with the chief executive officer to improve operational efficiency and reinforce financial discipline across the business.

In a statement, the board thanked the executive leadership team for steering the company during the period it operated under the dual-CEO structure, describing the transition as a reflection of MeCure’s evolving strategic priorities, governance maturity and long-term ambitions.

The company said it is confident that Dukor and Udani’s combined leadership experience and industry expertise will strengthen MeCure’s competitive position, support sustainable growth and enhance long-term shareholder value. The appointments take effect on August 1, 2026.
