MC Mbakara sparks reactions as he claims Junior Pope’s ‘death’ is prank to promote movie

Nigerian actor and skit-maker, MC Mbaraka has stirred controversy online by expressing suspicion that the death of popular actor, Junior Pope Odonwodo is all a prank.

In a video which has gone viral on TikTok, Mbakara suggested that the demise as a result of a boat accident in Anam river is a hoax which the filmmakers intend to use in promoting an upcoming movie.

The content creator sounded certain of his position on the matter and insisted that Junior Pope isn’t dead but his death was faked.

He implied that the video Junior Pope recorded on the boat hours before his reported demise, gave the impression that it was part of the plan.

Mbakara also pointed out that the clothes he wore in the video were different from the ones they saw on his body after he was rescued fromthe river as if he changed outfits.

He said it will be slap on the movie industry if the truth is unveiled and it is discovered that they were playing a prank all along.

Mbakara said: “The producers of this movie are trying to use Junior Pope’s death as a prank to promote the movie. It’s not going to be funny because it’s going to be a slap on the face of the movie industry.”
