Leadership transition at Construction Kaiser ushers in Euchenhofer as CEO

Construction Kaiser Limited (CKL), one of Nigeria’s leading indigenous building and civil engineering companies, has announced the appointment of Stefan Euchenhofer as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective January 3, 2026.

Euchenhofer’s appointment marks a strategic leadership transition designed to strengthen CKL’s operational excellence, drive innovation, and expand sustainable infrastructure solutions across Nigeria and Africa.

“Stefan’s appointment signals an exciting new chapter for CKL. His leadership will strengthen our legacy, elevate our capacity for innovation, and position the company for sustainable growth in alignment with the world class standards,” Igbuan Okaisabor, Founder/CEO for the past 32 years, noted.

Stefan brings over 30 years of international experience, spanning Europe, Asia, and Africa, including extensive work in Nigeria. His expertise covers large scale building construction, civil and structural engineering, infrastructure delivery, and senior business leadership. He has successfully led turnaround initiatives, delivered complex projects on time and within budget, and developed and empowered local teams.

Before joining CKL, Stefan served as Managing Director for several PERI Formwork and Scaffolding subsidiaries across the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, and Nigeria. He successfully guided the Nigerian business through the recession and the Covid 19 period while achieving notable revenue growth.

His earlier career includes senior roles at Dantata and Sawoe Construction Company in Nigeria, as well as at leading international contractors such as Strabag International and Julius Berger Nigeria Plc. He also worked with Bilfinger Berger in Germany, the former parent company of Julius Berger Nigeria.
