Lagos APC, Ikeja LG Chairman Extend Warm Eid-el-Fitr Greetings, Urge Responsible Celebrations

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Lagos State Chapter and the Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda, have congratulated Muslim faithful on the successful completion of Ramadan, urging residents to celebrate responsibly during the Eid-el-Fitr festivities.

In a statement by the Lagos APC Spokesman, Seye Oladejo, the party described Eid-el-Fitr as a period symbolising sacrifice, discipline, compassion, and unwavering faith in Almighty Allah. “It is a time for gratitude, reflection, and renewed commitment to peace, unity, and mutual coexistence,” the statement read.

The party also commended the Muslim community for their devotion, prayers, and contributions to the growth and stability of Lagos State. It encouraged residents to sustain virtues of patience, generosity, and love beyond Ramadan, while using the festive period to strengthen unity, promote peaceful coexistence, and support the less privileged.

Similarly, Chairman Dauda, popularly known as AKOD, through his Chief Press Secretary, Olalekan Oni, extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful in Ikeja and across Lagos State. He praised the community for their sacrifice and steadfastness during Ramadan, highlighting values of faith, patience, and selflessness.

Dauda described Eid-el-Fitr as a time for reflection, gratitude, and togetherness, urging residents to uphold the spirit of unity, compassion, and love in fostering community development. He prayed for continued peace, harmony, and progress in Ikeja, Lagos State, and Nigeria, while encouraging citizens to celebrate safely and support the less privileged.
