The Kwara State Commander of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), CN Fatima Abiola-Popoola, has presented the prestigious Chairman/Chief Executive Officer (CCEO) Award to the officers and men of the Kwara State Command.
The presentation took place on 29th January 2026 at the Kwara State NDLEA Headquarters, Ilorin, in recognition of the Command’s outstanding performance.
The award was earlier conferred on the Kwara State Command last week by the NDLEA Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, Brigadier-General Mohammed Buba Marwa (Rtd), at the Agency’s national headquarters. It was awarded for the Command’s exceptional achievements in Supply Demand Reduction during the 2025 year under review, reflecting sustained commitment, professionalism, and effective operational strategies.
Presenting the award in a joyous atmosphere, CN Fatima Abiola-Popoola commended the management and staff for their dedication and teamwork, describing the recognition as a collective achievement. She encouraged officers and men of the Command to sustain the tempo and remain resolute in the fight against drug abuse and trafficking, assuring them of her continued support and leadership.
