Kaduna ALGON chairman donates ₦620,000 to Hisbah commanders in Sabon Gari LGA

The Kaduna State Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) and Chairman of Sabon Gari Local Government Area, Hon Jameel Abubakar Albany has donated ₦620,000 to Hisbah Commanders and officials in the area.

A statement on Monday by the Sabon Gari Hisbah said the gesture is to strengthen the agency’s activities across the LGA.

The donation is to be shared among Hisbah Commanders working at the ward level, including both male and female detachments, as well as the Local Government EXCOs of the Hisbah Corps.

Speaking during the presentation, the chairman reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the Hisbah agency, noting that he will continue to provide assistance to enhance its operations in every community within Sabon Gari Local Government Area.

He described the Hisbah Corps as a vital partner in promoting moral values, security, and social order at the grassroots.

Responding on behalf of the Hisbah Corps, officials expressed gratitude to the chairman for the gesture. They prayed that Allah grant him a successful tenure and bless him with good health and strength to continue serving the people.

The donation is part of ongoing efforts by the Sabon Gari LGA administration to empower security and moral enforcement agencies working at the community level.
