The senate approved the committee’s recommendations after Sani Bello, committee chairman, presented its report to the chamber.
During the consideration, Sahabi Yau raised an objection over the exclusion of Zamfara from the list of nominees.
Yau urged the senate to formally notify the president about the omission for necessary correction.
Responding to the concern, the senate president acknowledged the point and explained that the submitted list did not represent a complete set of appointments.
The senate president assured lawmakers that the concern would be conveyed to the President Bola Tinubu.
He added that additional ambassadorial nominations were expected and that Zamfara would be accommodated in future submissions.
