Manchester United have sacked manager, Ruben Amorim, ending the Portuguese coach’s tenure at Old Trafford after just 13 months in charge.
Amorim has been axed by the Red Devils following the 1-1 draw against Leeds United on Sunday, leaving them sixth in the Premier League.
After the match, Amorim openly criticised his superiors in a post-match interview, an outburst that reportedly proved to be the final straw for the Red Devils’ hierarchy, who had grown increasingly frustrated with the manager over the past months.
More to come…
