The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the commencement of examination slip printing for candidates registered for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
In a statement issued on Thursday, the board urged candidates to visit its official portal to download their slips ahead of the examination, noting that the document contains essential details required for entry into examination centres.
“Examination Slip Printing is now available. The slip contains details of the venue, date and time of your examination and gives you access to the examination hall,” the board said.
Candidates were directed to access the slip printing service via the board’s website at jamb.gov.ng by selecting the “2026 Slip Printing” option.
JAMB also dismissed a viral press release circulating online which claimed that the examination had been postponed, describing the notice as false and misleading. The board urged candidates and the public to disregard the information.
According to the examination body, the 2026 UTME is scheduled to hold from April 16 to April 25, 2026.
The upcoming examination follows the mock UTME conducted on March 28, 2026, during which technical challenges were reported at some Computer-Based Test centres across the country.
