Ivorian influencer Fatim Bakayoko has died while in Nigeria, with reports about the circumstances surrounding her death circulating on social media.

Initial reports claimed that Fatim travelled from Ivory Coast to Aba, Nigeria, to undergo a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), with some reports suggesting that she died following the cosmetic procedure.
However, Fatim’s partner has come forward to dispute the claims that she underwent plastic surgery.

According to her partner, he contacted Scoop Afrique directly and explained that Fatim travelled to Nigeria for personal care and did not undergo any form of plastic surgery.
He also revealed that Fatim’s body is currently in Nigeria, but the exact cause of her death has not been disclosed.
The conflicting accounts have raised questions about what happened to the influencer during her time in Nigeria, as the initial reports about a BBL have not been confirmed by her partner.
Fatim leaves behind a young daughter.
