Innovation, product reliability earn LG honours at BJAN, Consumer Value Awards

LG Electronics has been honoured with four category wins at the Brand Journalists Association of Nigeria (BJAN) Conference & Awards and the Consumer Value Award, with organisers citing the company’s strength in innovation, product reliability, and sustained consumer trust as key reasons for its recognition.

The company received awards for Best in Innovation, Best Electronics, Best TV, and Best Washing Machine Brand, categories that evaluators said reflect LG’s performance across core product lines and its responsiveness to consumer needs in the Nigerian market.

According to the company, the recognition underscores its performance across key product categories and its commitment to delivering durable and efficient appliances.

Receiving the awards on behalf of LG, Paul Mba, head of corporate marketing, said the announcement reinforces the trust the company has earned among Nigerians.

“These awards reflect the trust Nigerians continue to place in LG. Our focus has always been on providing appliances and electronics that make life easier, smarter, and more efficient. This honour inspires us to keep innovating and offering products that deliver true value,” he said.

LG’s television sets, washing machines, and electronic appliances have remained widely used across households due to their features, energy efficiency, and product reliability.

The company said its steady presence in Nigeria has been supported by locally relevant solutions and after-sales services designed for the country’s environment.

The BJAN Awards and Consumer Value Awards are considered important platforms for assessing brand performance and consumer satisfaction. The selection process involves journalists, analysts, and consumer advocates, making the multiple wins a milestone for the brand.

Commenting further, Moses Osime, public relations and corporate social responsibility manager at LG Electronics Nigeria, said the recognition aligns with the company’s efforts throughout the year.

“This recognition is especially meaningful for us because it comes in a year where LG has continued to deepen its engagement with Nigerian consumers through several high-impact initiatives. One of the highlights of 2025 was the LG Tech Innovation Experience, a prestigious showcase where we unveiled our latest AI-driven home solutions to thousands of industry experts, partners, and families across Nigeria,” he said.

LG said it will continue to invest in next-generation technologies and sustainable home solutions as consumer needs evolve, noting that its long-term goal is to support smarter living for households across the country.
