US President Donald Trump attracted attention during a rally in Daytona Beach, Florida, on Friday after briefly interrupting his speech to clean his eye with a wet napkin.
The incident happened about halfway through the event, where Trump was addressing supporters as he campaigned ahead of Tuesday’s midterm elections, which will determine control of Congress.

In the video circulating online, Trump was seen dipping a napkin into a cup of water before using it to wipe his eye.
He then addressed the crowd, explaining why he had paused his remarks.

Speaking during the rally, Trump told the audience:
“Do you mind? I got a thing in my eye, watch this.
“Ah, that’s so much better.
He then added: “I wish I had little eye drops”
Trump also used the moment to respond to critics who had questioned his health following the cancellation of some campaign rallies scheduled for the weekend.
Taking a swipe at those who have raised concerns about his condition, he said:
“If I did, they’d say I was seriously ill, that there’s something wrong with me.”
The moment occurred roughly an hour into the Florida rally as Trump continued his campaign appearances ahead of the midterm elections.
