A married man has reportedly found himself caught between guilt, excitement and confusion after his wife’s younger sister became pregnant for him following a secret affair.
The man, 44, has been married to his 37 year old wife for eight years without having a child. According to his account, however, his wife has experienced more than one miscarriage during their marriage.
The situation became complicated after he began a secret relationship with his wife’s 29 year old younger sister. The affair has reportedly lasted for more than seven months, and the younger woman is now almost two months pregnant.
Man wants to keep pregnancy despite sister’s wish to terminate it
According to the man, the pregnant woman wants to terminate the pregnancy, but he strongly opposes the idea because he wants to have a biological child.
He has reportedly told her that he would marry her, arguing that his marriage to his wife was only conducted traditionally and that marrying her sister would therefore not amount to bigamy.
The woman has since reportedly left the family home and moved elsewhere because she cannot cope with the shame and betrayal surrounding the situation.
The man is also said to have threatened to have her arrested if anything happens to the pregnancy.
He wants to confess to his wife
The man now wants to tell his wife about the affair and pregnancy and apologise to her, while also pursuing marriage to her younger sister.
The couple’s situation is further complicated by the fact that the wife is the first child in her family and has only one brother, whose school fees are reportedly paid by her husband.
With both women being sisters and the pregnancy occurring after years of marriage and repeated miscarriages, the situation has raised difficult questions about betrayal, family boundaries and the consequences of seeking a biological child at any cost.
