Nigerian actor, pastor and politician, Yul Edochie has set tongues wagging online after hinting why he did not attend the burial of his colleague, Junior Pope.

Edochie claimed in an Instagram post on Tuesday, that took the person as a brother and close friend only to get stabbed in the back repeatedly.

Although he did not explicitly refer to the late actor who died in a tragic boat mishap, fans were able to decipher who he was talking about.

It may be recalled that when he was alive, Junior Pope took the side of May Edochie, the estranged wife of Yul at the time they were having their marriage crisis.

Yul Edochie not afraid of dragging

According to Yul, he did not want to say anything till after the funeral ceremony as people have been asking why he was absent.

The actor warned people to be careful of what they wish people, as it could backfire and return to sender. He promised to give full details on the matter.

Yul Eochie wrote; “I didn’t want to say anything till after his burial. I know many asked why I wasn’t there. Why I haven’t said anything about it since. I took him like a brother & good friend.
