A Nigerian woman has gone viral online after sharing how she met her husband at a wedding.
In a post on X, @Emily46645 disclosed that she met her husband after splashing a drink on him at a wedding held in 2019.

According to the X user, her husband was the groom’s friend, while she was the caterer’s cousin.
Meanwhile, after she splashed the drink on him, she apologized several times while he laughed and asked for her number.
Eventually, she gave him her number. He texted requesting a refund or a date, but she didn’t respond for over three days.

Afterwards, they went on a date and argued about Afrobeats stars, Wizkid and Burna Boy.
On their date, he covered the bill despite her insistence on splitting it. However, three years later, he proposed while wearing white shoes, and she cried on his outfit.
