Hayden Panettiere had her plans lined up before death nipped them in the bud!
The actress, who passed away on August 16 at the age of 36, was full of life and had just begun to pull the pieces of her life together after battling alcohol addiction and postpartum depression.
The news of Hayden Panettiere’s sudden death has fueled several theories behind her passing, especially since an official cause and manner of death have not been released. Preliminary findings by authorities, however, suggest no foul play was involved in the TV star’s death.
The iconic actress had made plans to visit her daughter, Kaya, in Ukraine and spend quality time with the pre-teen. Panettiere shares Kaya, born in December 2014, with her ex-fiancé Wladimir Klitschko.
According to the late TV personality’s hairstylist, Erick Orellana, she gushed about spending time with her daughter at their last meeting a few months ago.
“I last saw her a few months ago. She was talking about how she wanted to take a vacation and that she wanted to go and see her daughter.” Orellana told Page Six in an exclusive interview. “Her daughter was always her absolute priority. She loved her so much.”
The stylist also shared that Panettiere never held back from talking about how much she loved Kaya and would often show him pictures accompanied by stories about the pre-teen. He described his late client as someone full of laughter and an encouraging friend.
The Actress Had Great Love For Her Daughter
Orellana stressed how much his late client “loved spending time” with her daughter, who lives full time with Klitschko in Ukraine. “Her daughter was the absolute light of her life,” the stylist emphasized. “She lit up when she spoke about her. Everything she did revolved around her.”
This does not seem far-fetched, as the actress was previously vocal about how she travels often to see Kaya, amid regularly communicating with her via FaceTime. She also expressed that they had an incredible mother-daughter bond.
Speaking about the “Heroes” star’s sudden, painful death, Orellana, who had worked with the star for three years, said the incident seems like nothing more than an accident. He noted that Panettiere loved her daughter so much and “would never have left her,” if the power of the inevitable lay in her hands.
In addition, Orellana shared that there were no warning signs, as the TV star was happy and radiated positive, yet “infectious,” energy, which she never failed to show when with friends. Like many others, the news of Panettiere’s passing left the beauty guru “in complete and utter shock.”
What Did Hayden Panettiere Say About Her Child Before Her Demise?
In one of Panettiere’s final interviews, she spoke lovingly about Kaya, hoping the pre-teen would understand why they could not be together for years. She explained that the painful decision she made to give away her full custody rights to her ex-fiancé was out of love for Kaya.
The actress spoke to Momé last month, a few weeks before her death, reflecting on her traumatic labor and birthing experience. She revealed she almost lost her life giving birth, was in surgery for three hours, and needed seven blood transfusions.
Coming out of the traumatic process, she was immediately hit with postpartum depression and did not instantly feel a connection with her child. To deal with her struggles, Panettiere turned to alcohol and eventually developed a dependency.
The actress disclosed that she never wanted to give up custody but had to put her daughter’s well-being first while she worked on becoming the mom Kaya deserves. “I love my daughter, and I’m so proud of the young woman she is becoming,” she told the magazine at the time.
Inside Kaya’s Traumatic Birth Story
The singer previously disclosed that pregnancy was like a breeze for her, but when trouble started, it was during the delivery. She delivered her daughter via C-section, but the process was far from smooth.
According to Panettiere, Kaya’s birth quickly progressed and became a frightening medical crisis, such that doctors reportedly declared a “code crimson” emergency after Panettiere’s blood would not clot following a C-section.
The medical practitioners sprang into action to ensure she survived. After the three-hour operation, Panettiere also developed a uterine infection. Everything went downhill after the actress could not get through the “insurmountable task” of overcoming the “total blackout of emotion” she had toward her newborn.
Panettiere entered treatment for her alcohol use and was diagnosed with postpartum depression when Kaya was four months old, as shared by The Blast. Other aspects of her life, including her career, also faced the heat.
Is There More To Hayden Panettiere’s Death?

Fans are suggesting that there could be more than meets the eye concerning the actress’s death. They have seemingly connected the dots from an event that she detailed in her memoir “This Is Me: A Reckoning”; however, no evidence from authorities fully supports the theories.
In her book, Panettiere recalled a disturbing incident that took place during her younger days while she spent time on a yacht with someone she trusted. She detailed that the trusted individual placed her in a bed beside an undressed “famous thirtysomething British singer-songwriter,” in a small private room.
The mom of one shared that she fled the room to hide somewhere on the yacht but felt deeply betrayed by the person she trusted. The Blast shared that several netizens have pointed out that her confession about the incident is tied to her sudden death. They claimed that it was not “just a coincidence” that a few months after Panettiere opened up, she was found dead.
Some internet users went as far as to say that her death was well orchestrated by people in Hollywood and made out to look like a suicide. The Greenville police department, on the other hand, stated that there were no signs of foul play or suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.
Rest easy, Hayden Panettiere!
