Golden Penny rewards over 6,000 consumers in ongoing anniversary promotion

Golden Penny Foods says more than 6,000 consumers have won various items in its ongoing 65th Anniversary Buy & Win National Consumer Promotion, which launched earlier this year.

The company said the nationwide campaign, which requires customers to submit empty packs of selected Golden Penny products to enter weekly draws, has so far received tens of thousands of entries. Six participants from Ekiti, Taraba, Lagos, Enugu, Kogi and Osun states have also won new cars in the draws.

Golden Penny disclosed that over 300 redemption centres were set up across the country to allow participants submit entries and claim prizes. Items won so far include cash rewards, gas cookers, washing machines, televisions, kitchen makeovers and Golden Penny food product hampers.

Caius Johnson-Bezi, Brand Manager, Ball Foods, Golden Penny Foods Ltd, said the company established support channels and redemption points nationwide to “ensure ease of access and redemption” during the promo period. He added that the weekly draws would continue as more prizes are yet to be claimed.

To participate, consumers are required to buy and scan the QR codes on 10 packs of Golden Penny noodles, three packs of Golden Penny pasta and three packs of Golden Penny semovita. Participants must present the empty packs at any designated redemption centre to qualify for the raffle draw.

The weekly draws are conducted every Tuesday at 12 p.m. via Golden Penny’s social media platforms, while winners can claim their prizes at designated centres with valid identification.
