FlinX Realty surges on Lagos Mainland, delivering 160 units ahead of schedule

FlinX Realty is emerging as a rare outlier in Nigeria’s real estate market, where projects often stall and delivery deadlines slip.

The Lagos-based developer has completed 16 buildings and delivered more than 160 housing units ahead of schedule, cementing its reputation as a trusted player on the mainland, the company said in a statement.

“In an industry where delays, disappointments, and broken promises are common, FlinX Realty is rewriting the script,” said Adigun Odubanku, the company’s co-founder and chief executive officer.

Unlike many developers that stop at selling homes, FlinX positions real estate as a platform for wealth creation. Its structured return systems, offering monthly and annual payout options, allow investors to treat property as both an asset and a steady income stream. “We give investors not only a home but a dependable source of income,” Odubanku said.

The firm has also sought to democratise access through off-plan investments and co-ownership. Investors can secure properties at early-stage prices or pool resources to jointly acquire premium assets, lowering barriers that once kept property investment in Nigeria the preserve of the wealthy.

“This has broken down the barriers that limited property investment to only the rich,” said Bright Okereke, co-founder and chief operating officer.

FlinX’s focus on Yaba and Surulere, two of Lagos mainland’s fastest-growing districts, has strengthened its appeal. Yaba’s rise as a technology hub and Surulere’s role as a bustling residential and commercial center have spurred demand for rental units and lifted long-term property values.

The company’s next frontier is scale. It has set an ambitious target of delivering 100,000 homes by 2030, a goal it frames as both investor-focused and socially urgent amid a global housing deficit. “We are more than developers—we are investment partners, trust builders, and problem solvers,” Odubanku said.

With timely delivery, investor-friendly structures, and an expanding footprint, FlinX Realty is reshaping perceptions of the mainland property market, long seen as less glamorous than Lagos Island.
