EFCC declares Chappal Energies boss, Ufoma Joseph Immanuel wanted

Ufoma Joseph Immanuel, the founder of Chappal Energies, has been declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for alleged fraud.

Immanuel is a former Head of Corporate Finance and Strategy at Eroton Exploration and Production.

A statement on Wednesday by Dele Oyewale, the EFCC spokesperson, said Immanuel, 46, an indigene of Edo State is wanted in connection with an alleged case of obtaining money by false pretence and forgery.

The anti-graft agency urged anyone with useful information about his whereabouts to contact any of its offices or the nearest police station.

“The public is hereby notified that UFOMA JOSEPH IMMANUEL, whose photograph appears above is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in an alleged case of btaining money by false pretence and forgery,” the statement reads.

“Ufoma Immanuel is 46 year-old indigene of Edo State and his last known address is: 77, Nelson Mandela Street, Maitama, Abuja.

“Anybody with useful information as to his whereabouts should contact the Commission in its Ibadan, Uyo, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Benin, Makurdi, Kaduna, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt, or Abuja offices, via 08093322644, e-mail [email protected], or the nearest police station and other security agencies.”
