Ecobank Nigeria has reassured its customers of seamless banking access throughout the festive and year-end break through its secure digital platforms.
Victor Yalokwu, head, products & analytics, consumer & commercial banking, Ecobank Nigeria, said the bank’s robust e-channels would remain fully available to support users across the period.
He listed the Ecobank Mobile App, Ecobank Business App, USSD *326#, Ecobank Online, OmniPlus, Omnilite, EcobankPay, RapidTransfer, Ecobank Cards, ATMs, PoS terminals and over 35,000 Ecobank Xpress Point agent locations as part of the available facilities.
Yalokwu explained that customers would still be able to carry out local and international transfers, bill payments, airtime purchases, merchant payments, account balance checks, statements and cardless withdrawals during the holidays.
According to him, “Ecobank encourages customers to leverage these digital solutions for safe, fast, and efficient banking, especially during the festive season when convenience and reliability are essential.”
He added that although branch hours may be adjusted due to public holidays, digital platforms are built to deliver uninterrupted access and enhanced security throughout the period.
Yalokwu stressed that the bank remains committed to innovation, excellent service delivery and customer satisfaction during and beyond the yuletide season.
“Ecobank remains committed to providing innovative financial solutions and exceptional customer service, and we wish all our customers a joyful festive season and a prosperous New Year,” he said.
“Before you wrap up the year, tighten your security. December brings online sales, travel, and year-end distractions—this is exactly when scammers are most active.”
Yalokwu cautioned against engaging suspicious platforms, sharing sensitive details, responding to emotional scam messages or banking through unsecured networks.
He advised customers to use only trusted websites, keep their banking details confidential and regularly monitor account activities for safety.
Ecobank Nigeria remains part of the Ecobank Group, a leading pan-African financial institution with a strong digital footprint across multiple countries.
